Autobahn Sprint races 8 Laps???

Okay, got home this weekend and did my home work on the next Midwest race.

Autobahn North Course, 1.4 miles.
40 foot wide track, 7 turns.

Okay, after I look at the map... I decided this will be a FAST track.
I am guessing[/u] we will be looking at lap times near the 52second mark.

The CCS schedule show all Sprint races to be 8 laps long.
Is this a mistake?
Or are we going to have 6-7 minute races?

While I am no expert, I would judge this track to be a 10 or 12 lap races, to equal the same race duration as BHFs or G-Man.

I can't get the rulebook to pull up for some reason, but I thought that sprint races were 16 miles.  That is why Blackhawk is 8 laps and Road America is 4 laps.

If that is true, Autobahn would come out to about 11 or 12 laps.  Anybody want to take a bet on what CCS really does?  :)

With there being 17 races on Sunday, I'm guessing it's 1st one to complete the hotlap...

Laps at Autobahn are about 10 seconds quicker than Blackhawk.  My bet is that CCS will make them 4 lap races.   ::)

   Schedule of Events is up, some are 8 laps, some are 16....
