I wouldn't be interested in rain pics anyways.  Seeing as how I was on slicks in the first race, going around a corner while still upright just doesn't look that great.  :P

I'd just be looking for one good pic thru the weekend or the GP race Sunday.

ya what happened this weekend? when it rained noone went down, maybe 1 or 2 bikes. but when it dried out, it was like everyone forgot to ride on slicks.

Well, I think the track being damp in a few places and sand being all over the place from the rain might have had something to do with it.  I don't know though, none of my races were red flagged.  Though there were a few wrecks, luckily no one was seriously injured this weekend.  I still can't believe that one racer chucked his bike into the trees and walked away.  :o

It is easier for me to ride in full rain, or full dry.. mid afternoon a dry line formed in most places, but you still had areas that were damp. When it is full wet you know what to expect everywhere on the track.
Yes, William Meyers lost a front calliper going into T3 from what i understand.. YIKES..

Lisa and Chris still got some good pics!!

Here is my teammate Dave Mcenery.. He was winning big time cutting 1:22'S on his new 1k in the rain. We forgot to tell him it was raining..

this was taken by John Marley of cycle scene magazine ( www.cyclescenemag.com ) but he only takes pics of the shootout podium. Look for the writeups he does of ALL the FL region CCS races in each montly Cycle Scene..
