Hey all,

I picked up a lap timer for the SV, and I'm trying to figure out the best spot to put the receiver and the display.  I'd like to put the display up near the tach, of course, which I think would require a tray of some kind on the fairing uppers.  Any thoughts or photos of "successfui" installations?  Thanks,

Nate

Wire tie it to the fairing stay. I had a bracket on my F2 that I mounted mine on. I;ve seen some doublesided taped to teh tripletree. Just gotta find a secure place to mount it thats convinenet for you.

I have a 2003 SV. I mount the display on the upper triple clamp (velcro). The reciever towards the front of the tank (so reciever can be pointed either way), once again with velcro. Same places on my TZ125.

I didn't mount the reciever on the tank on my TZ250 (due to filler location), it is velcroed to the top ot the remote reservoir for the front brakes, does not work as well as mounting on the tank. Will have to try a different location.

i have a little bracket that is bolted to the triple clamp for the timer screen, and the sender is zip tied to the front fairing bracket and I can point it left or right.... works good

I have a MY CHRON LITE GT, for my 750ss. I made a mount for it so it bolts next to the tach, so the timer is where my spedo used to be.  It works great and keeps it dry like at Jennings last sun. The rcvr. I just ziptie to the fairing mount so I can easily move it from one side to the other.  It took about 2 hours to fabricate it by hand, but it looks very trick.
