#691 crash @ t1 @ Summit Point

I just wanted to thank the corner workers who came to my aid after I ran through the gravel trap and launched myself over the berm onto the Jefferson Circuit in Saturdays GT race #5.
I know that they were worried about me when I didn't want an ambulance ride but I really was OK, just a little bruised and battered. I would also like to thank them for taking the time to come check on me later (and on Sunday too) to make sure that I was OK
I can assure all of the corner workers out there that I am a wussy and had I actually been hurt I would have gotten in the ambulance post haste.

We're sure glad you are ok too.  When I heard over the Net that there was a bike into the woods in T1 I was a little concerned.  

But from what I hear the workers in one were all over you(which is a good thing right?? ;D) and had u well taken care of.

All I could think of when I heard the call that a rider went over the berm into the woods was that you went over the berm in DEEP Turn 1.......putting you on the Jefferson Circuit with the BMW's!!   :o :o Luckily that wasn't the case.

Glad to hear that you're doing okay. I was the one that stopped and talked with you while you were on your way to the showers. I didn't mean to cause as much of a stir as I did when I alerted some other folks about your disposition, but I wanted to make sure we kept an eye on you.
