EX#996

As most of you know, I had a little trouble with an E-bay transaction.  You can read about it here....

Today I received a letter from Pay Pal that states:

QuoteIn order to continue with the investigation of your claim, we must request documentation to support your claim that the item is damaged or significantly not as described.  Please obtain a document (such as an estimate or invoice) from an unbiased third-party, such as a dealer; repair shop, appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the area of the item in question (other than yourself), which details the extent of the damage or clearly explains how the item received
significantly differs from the item advertised. Please do not proceed with any repairs or alterations to the item, as doing so will limit PayPal's ability to successfully resolve your claim, and may result in the
cancellation of your dispute. If possible, the document should include a serial number and description of the item, and the dollar amount required to complete the repairs necessary to correct the damage. This document must be on letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the individual, business, or organization so that PayPal may contact them if necessary.

Anyone care to help me with this?

Thanks!

My brother just went through the same thing with a bad transaction.

He had to take pics of the wheels and then sent them a link to the actual auction.  It was easy to see that the items were not what the picture represented.  I think he had a local bike shop look at them to confirm it or something like that.

To my surprise, he did receive his money back.

Good luck!

Dawn, since Brian Baker  is a suspension guy, you might try him at 414.916.9559.

You could also call Lithium Motorsports and talk to Ryan of Suspension Solutions 712.546.7747.

I think both of them will be a BFR for the races in a week.

Good luck!

Do or do not, there is no "try".
