Some of you may know that Linda has been dealing with a difficult time lately and has not been at the office for a while.  Please understand that due to circumstances beyond her control she may be in and out without much notice, so please have patience with whatever problem/question/concern you may have.  Refunds and licenses are still under her control and believe me she is working hard on keeping everything current.  Keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

On that same note, for the forseeable (sp?) future I may be the only one here to take calls or emails for CCS.  Between receiving 60+ calls per day and 30+ emails (not to mention my real work of the actual race data) I have been and will be a busy little bee.  I request your understanding when dealing with me and ask for you to do two things for me.  1-If it isn't an emergency, please email.  It is far easier for me to type and click than have to be attached to a phone.  2-If you really need to call, I'm more than happy to help.  Just please don't be mean to the girls that are trying to help, and don't leave nasty messages.  I guarantee I will not respond to a voice mail that includes a curse word.  Remember, I've never cursed at you.  A little patience will go a long way.

:)

you've been cursed at?

sounds like some racers need attitude adjustments...jeez this is a damn hobby. ;D

Believe it or not, it happens.  I think I'm pretty nice to everyone, whether I like them or not.  It's important to try to be as professional as possible.  However, some people do not seem to realize exactly what goes on behind the scenes.  Races take days or weeks to prepare for, and if you have 2 or 3 (or 4) on a given weekend it can take coming in at 7am and staying until tomorrow and still never having a moment to check your messages.  I've done that several times.  I don't think the average job requires that, much less has the safety and deadline issues.  I think it would do a lot for everyone to come hang out for a day and see what it's really like.

Everyone should be nice to Tiffiney; she's on your side!

That said, Tiff, I've sent two e-mails (one on Feb 15 and another on March 22) that never got answered.  Is there a way for me to get my plaque from last September's Blackhawk?

Oh, I so TOTALLY disagree!  How exactly did that go?  "Oh, K3, my %#@$ing head hurts so %#@$ing bad!  Why did I drink so %#@$ing much last night?
My response?  "Tiff, Please don't talk so loud!" ;)

Hey, so is your house still perched on the edge of an abyss? :o
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

i know I don't have a lot of patience, but if I can do it, everyone else can.

i have spoken to tiff MANY times and even though a few times I dont get the answer I want to hear.... I didn't take it out on her.

Cursing at Tiffiney?  Don't these people have mothers?

Mine always taught me that honey gets you farther than vinegar, so, when my Friday registrations were messed up for RA, I emailed Tiffiney and asked if she might be able to help.  I used "please" "thank you" and "I understand your probably very busy".

Guess what, she solved my problem quickly with no hassle whatsoever.

So, the moral of the story, be nice to Tiffiney!

Thank you, guys.  I apologize if I don't get to every email or message.  I promise it isn't because I don't like you.   ;D  I'm just trying to catch up.

K3--That wasn't directed at you, it was directed at the world.   ;D

The house is still perched on its cliff, dangling precariously.  Not really, but the hole is still there.  Our neighbor told us that we should have the first round of reports back on Friday.  Cross your fingers, hope that it's the drain pipe!

Eric Kelcher

just got the message the soil report is sitting on our doorstep.

We'll be expecting a full report, Eric and Tiff! :-/
