I sell them for SVs, and used them all last season on our endurance bikes, with great results.

Knuppy and Hanson both used aluminum clutch plates last year on their AMA bikes.  (not sure if they were Hyperplates)

Anyway, both riders literally broke the plates in half.  By the end of the year, they were back to steel plates.  I will admit, they were on some big horsepower bikes.  They might work better on something smaller than a GSX-R1000. :-/

They are sourcing the plates from the Chicago area, so i don't have a good answer on what they are called.

Just the metal plates, not the friction rings?  How much for a set for an SV?

For just the Hyper Plates $62
I'm putting together a kit which includes fibers,hd springs, and a gasket. Right now it's at $160, but I'm working to get it below $150.

Supah Dave, those are probably the same ones that Knuppy and Hanson had, as their motors were built at 4&6.  Maybe it was just the big horsepower that torched them, or maybe it was their riding.
