New to the CCS / ASRA forum?   New racer?  About to be a racer?  Where do you live?  Where do you race?  What bike(s) are you racing?

Not a racer?  Just a spectator?  Or maybe you are a racer's mechanic?  Or an umbrella girl?
Do you run or work for a motorcycle related business or racing-related business?   Do you have questions about racing?  We have plenty of expert racers here to provide advice.
Basically, tell us a little about why you are here.

Hey everybody, I'm just getting into racing - SW burbs of Chicago.  Currently have a street Sv650s, but I'm in the process of getting a 250's / 300's / SV's that is track prepped.  Right now just focused on learning the craft and having fun.

Hey everyone,

My name is Billy. I've been a racing fan my entire life, but i just got into racing bikes in 2019. (raced cars before) I originally planned on just doing track days in 2019 and maybe get a racing license in 2020...

However, I did my first STT event at Gingerman raceway in June and I moved from Novice to Advanced by Sunday. (my first track days ever :/)

The coaches then persuaded/demanded me to come out and get my license the very next weekend and start racing CCS. So that's what i did. :) I plan on doing a few more CCS events at BHF, as well as a few more STT days to work on my skills this year. Next year I am planning on running the full season for Mid West Regional.

I race a 2009 ZX6R
I'm from Kalamazoo MI
I have raced at Gingerman & Black Hawk Farms (but i plan to go all over)
I also plan to race WERA as I am rather close to Grattan as well.
I have raced a lot of Mid West tracks in my car, and I look forward to racing bikes there because I don't have to learn the track as much! lol

My 2-5 year goal is to end up getting my Expert license and maybe down the road try to race the Daytona 200 :)

Currently selling all my race car stuff because there is no way i'm going back!

Hope to meet a lot of you in the next few months/years!

Maybe you would do well to post some photos etc.   Put it in the commercial classifieds section.
