I have already spoken with Kevin about this and have seen interest in our region for it, how about other regions?

A flyweight Sportsman class. 260cc max displacement 4 stroke this would allow the EX250 and the YZ250F  motards a place to run and also go like 150cc 2 stroke.  GP bikes of course are still excluded.

In GP singles keeping the large CR/KX/RM 500 out or at least prevent them from being installed in RR frames.

How about a DFS class?

LOL, I've finally found my class if they make this one.

I think 125 2 strokes as they and the yz250f are close on the mx track.  The ex would be fun even if it is 5hp down from the yz.  require stock frames and it may help the ex.

Well, I can't really put an opinion in on this one, as I really don't have one.  I have, however, informed Kevin of the availability of the boards (we had talked prior to the creation of the boards), and hope that he is going to join in on the conversations.

At any rate, if people post their opinions, and there are enough people in favor, I'm sure we can just bundle up all of the replies and send them over to him!

A 250 class would be great and an inexpensive way to get started. I always thought the Honda VTR 250 would make a nice race bike if someone ran a 250 class in the east coast.  :)

For an inexpensive way to get started, a GS500 or EX 500 can be had for less than it costs to set up a good 600 supersport (NOT even including the cost of the 600) With grids getting sparce in the LT Sportsman class, I don't see how ULTRA LT will do much better.

I think the CCS weekend has to many classes allready. There isn't enough time to run the classes they have. Wouldn't fewer but longer races be more fun? Maybe like 15 to 20 laps and just 6 to 8 classes.

I second that. There are too many classes already.  Florida CCS is running one more lap than last year. We went from 5 laps to 6 lap races. I like the current trend lets keep it up. .
