I got down into the fifteens this weekend at Blackhawk.  I do love the torque there, and I certianly agree that more horsepowers wouldn't bennefit me too much there...

Heartland...  Dunno... 1:55s or something.  I didn't have much time there.  Definately more places there to pick up time than on the throttle.

Point made - only one race at Road A.

But... I'm hoping to head to Daytona this year for the ROC...

Super Dave

I went faster on my SV1000.  Stock motor.  I focused on my set up chassis wise.

Well yes... I know that Dave... I'm not saying that I have no more to extract from the bike.  I know that I have a lot more to make up in my riding alone - I'm very much still learning.

I'm just rather bored of getting left behind on the straights by my competitors.  I got drafted out of a 3rd place by, admitedly by my competitor, motor alone.  My chassis has Ohlins F/R, so the chassis is top spec, and I feel I have it setup and working well for where I'm at.  There's much room for me to improve on entry speed AND exit.

That being said, if I didn't loose a second per straight to the folks I'm racing - that's a second I'd be ahead at the end of the lap.  You're point is made, but for $800 - I feel it's a good bang for my hard earned.

Anyway - you answered my question - it's legal.  Thank you.
