You Honda guys (which may be me next year depending on how this turns out!) check this out:

But wait, there is more:

A WERA spy has informed me they are paying $2000, $1500, $1000, $750, and $500, 1st through 5th place, in HW Twins, Open SS, and 600 SS for all national races plus a $2500 bonus for the championship.  Ladies and Gents...this is some pretty serious cash.

Wonder how this will translate to CCS and FUSA?

Wonder how Suz, Kwak, and Yammie will respond?

I'm speaking for Kwak and we're not giving you jack shiznit!  ;D

But did you also see that they pulled out of sponsoring the FUSA series? That is not good, especially this late in the game.

I'd like to see how Yam and Suzuki respond also.  Wouldnt it be nice to see a contingency war.

Oh, I can assure you.  He is... :D

I just wish the other bike was an "I", then no matter what I ran I'd be in the running for $$$.

Not that I'll see a 5th, but hey, a guy's gotta have a goal right?!?!

Do you mean F4i?  In the RRW article, I read that the F4i was included in the contingency program.

Hello Honda, Are you listening? How about a little $ for the 2 stroke riders huh? Always the brides maid...never the bride. Damn

It is..  I meant "I wish the other was an I" because my other bike is an F4...  Not an I...  But the RR will still count :-)

Now I've just gotta beat a few real fast people :-)

Contingency war probably won't happen.

Years ago, the manufacturers of 600cc motorcycles decided not to one up each other too much.  That keeps the flow of riders moving between bikes every year.  The performance at regional races, a better measure of normal, legal performance levels, has not dramatically increased even though the flow of information would make you think that it does.

So, what Honda's contingency will be, if it will be cash or certificates...we'll have to wait and see.

And even then, Yamaha has traditionally offered a lot of money, but you still see a whole lot of Suzuki's...

Hey Dave, are you going to the 3 hour race Sun.  ??

LOL! ;D

I can't.  I have to do the Pinewood Derby on Sunday.  First time for my six year old.  Should be fun, but you'll all be just twenty minutes down the road.

I love riding on the ice.... :-[
