Oooohhhhhh.....
Almost denied again. ;D
(ya' know we love ya' Steve) ;)
Ahem.....
-Dave M. Thanks for remembering me.
(You get to do a double "thank-you" speech next year!)
-Tiffany. Thanks for driving 216 hours to attend the GP banquet (w/a new born and Eric!), getting the engraving on my sweet trophy right, and fixing the minor "oops" from last year. (Besides, who cares about some listing on the board when the engraving on the trophy is right?!)
-Dawn. Yes, the trophy is stunning.....Beause it has my name on it, not that husband of yours!!
(At the end of the day, it's hard to get worked up over an amateur trophy. Expert trophies are where it's at!)
Regardless, the event was a lifetime memory, not because of the heavenly hardware, but because I got to see Kevin C. dance!!!!
(Not that I should comment....White racers can't dance. But we can drink and then act like we can dance!!)

Does that mean you have a 2003 Great Plains Amateur Thunderbike Second Place plaque?
;)

Please tell me you have pictures.......
;D
And act like I could dance we did! ;D
That was so much fun, as usuall my thank yous where a tad short, but I thought I'd leave the real acceptance speach to the Champions.
Steve we couldn't have done as comfortable as we did with out you and Cheryl's Mobile motel. Thank you so much, I felt lousy when I realized I forgot.
oh and Kevin is a pimp I don't care what they say...
The Check List:
-2003 GP Amateur Thunderbike Plaque declaring me (not Paul) 2nd place.....Check.
-Feeling properly "thanked" for occasional hospitality for MC Racing.....Check.
-The pic of Mike C., Chuck M., Kevin C., Hector St J., Matt H., Jason J., Dwayne L., myself (& our respective dates) dancing in the hottest night club in St Louis after the GP Banquet....Umm, who remembered to bring a camera?
I made an earlier comment about Kevin's possible lack of dance floor expertise (we should have all had our yellow plates displayed on the dance floor that night), but the real crime was not getting a pic of Matt, Jason & Dwayne "entertaining" a bachelorette party......Perhaps there'll be a Chippendales Race Team for 2005?!
Be Afraid. Very Afraid.

Hot dang... I made this list too! ;D
Yellow plated Dancers lmfao!!!....check!
QuoteI made an earlier comment about Kevin's possible lack of dance floor expertise (we should have all had our yellow plates displayed on the dance floor that night),
Oh great, now Kevin's gonna have something else to complain about - Petitioning to stay as a YPS in dancing. Maybe not - from the sounds of things he won't get much of an argument from anyone about keeping his Yellow Plate for dancing! ;D
Kevin? Dancing? If I had known you guys were across the hall at the club I would have sent Eric upstairs with the baby!
Hey Stephen--you're totally welcome, I'm sorry I didn't fix it sooner.
Oh, and it was only 215 hours. But you're right, it was with Eric, so it felt like 216.
I think this will be a good advertisement for everyone to show up at next year's banquet!
Tiffiney.... you have a PM.
