I didn't really get to run against Sunny though. Had a clutch problem early on, and we had to replace the clutch pack  :(

Dang, you had to replace the clutch pack in a brand new Mille R Factory?  I thought those bikes were supposed to be decent?

Nah, Mille wasn't ready.  Rode a 916 instead.

Cool, those are nice bikes.  Bummer about the clutch tho.  Didn't know you had one, or were you sharing a ride?

Dan, you need to recalibrate your lap timer unless you were reporting Ryan's lap time instead of yours!   ::) ;D  I guess I should stay quite about what kind of real lap time you were doing out there as I watched/followed you and passed you.   :P ;D  Oh, for the record, you haven't give me the $500 cash yet!  You've better come up with that money soon!   ;D

It was Ryan's bike that he's riding.

Actually, your right, I did say that, so I lost.  :(  Damn .33 seconds  >:(  Oh well, I still broke 1:30 which H-Man said wouldn't happen, but I didn't break what I said I would, which is the above.

What kinda beer?

Uhm Sunny, Calvin will run a 1:28 with his eyes closed, running on 1 cyl, with flat tires.  ::)

As far as given you, you never compared my times to yours.  Infact, after the second time I went out, I never saw your pretty little ass anywhere.  Where were you hiding  ???  I never did see you out at as the same time as me  ???

That's true, I didn't see you while gridding up either most of the time.  Did you came out late all the time?   ???   Me, Mike Flis and Jim were looking for you, and never saw you.  I did come up behind you in a few sessions though, so I know how you were doing.  I did passed you a few times, but most of the time I was passing you (after getting back to the groove after 2 sessions), there were also several riders in front of you, and I just pass you all in one shot, and maybe that's why you didn't notice me as I blew by and was gone within a short time.   ;D

I don't think so Sunny.  Yes, I came out late damn near every time, but the only chance you had of seeing me is when I was first coming on.  Sorry, but last time I checked, Rossi wasn't Tiawanese, so your definetly not Rossi  ;D

I knew it.  You were trying to avoid us..........   ;D  Anyway, you lost and you've better come up with that $500 cash!  Mike Flis and his family all knew you lost, and was wondering where the $$$ is at the end of the day!   ;D

Come on Dan, being honorable..........   ::)  Should I bring Mike to this board now?  And should I tell everyone what kind of real pace you were riding from what I see?  If you were truely doing 1:28's as you said, both Mike Flis and I were doing 1:18's pace (under track record!)!!!!!!!  If you "talk the talk", you've better "walk the walk"!  Now, where is my $$$?  You definitely lost no matter how you look at it.   ;D

A STT instructor and also a WERA racer had also clocked you from behind.  He too posted your lap time if you care to look for it on WERA's board...........   ;D

That's fine. I already said I lost, by .33 seconds of what I said I would do, but I did beat what H-Man said I wouldn't, but what I said and what I did are different, so I lost.  I'll admit that, no problem, and I will pay up.

I'll be waiting for my winning of $500 then!!!!!!!!!!   ;D  Ok, I realized long ago you'll have all kind of excuses for not paying me.  Anyway, I really hope that you were as fast as you said!   ;)  Will try to hook up with you again later to see you in action on your Mille!   ;)

Sunny, what the hell are you talking about.  First of all, I never went up against you once that whole day.  Second, I never started a session at the same time as you.  If you remember correctly, Ryan went out during the intermediate session to check the clutch after replacing the plates, TWO times, and I went out mid session. Now, if you were coming out of turn 3 when I was getting on the track, I hope you can pass me. Give it up.  If you want to really race me, then enter a race that I am in.  What is it with you morons (read that as the ducsunlimited crew) thinking that passsing someone during a track day has to do with anything?  I simply don't understand how you can equate passing someone that didn't start or finish the same time as you, with being faster than someone.  If you, or anyone else wants to compare lap times, show up DURING a RACE, not a track day.  Track days are made for polishing up on skill.  If you really wanna race, then enter a race. It's that simple.  I find it very funny how last year, at the end of the year, I handed out asses left and right at Gingerman, but now all of these people claim to be faster than me now, and the best part is, I've already done more track days than they have, and I"ve only done 1.  You know who I"m talking about.  You wanna compare my skill to yours, bring it during race day.  Forget the whole "I'm faster at the track" during a practice or track day. Unless there is set number of laps, a green flag, and a checkered, you'll never know.  We all have to start at the exact same time, and the race has to end with a checkered.  That is what racing is for Sunny incase you forgot.

To Clarify:

I said I would do: 1:28:00 or better
H-Man said I had to do: 1:30:00 or better

I actualy did 1:28:33 which means I LOST by .33 seconds.  I said I would do 1:28:00 or better, so I LOST.  I'll settle up as agreed.  I would like to bet again though.  This time we'll use the official results from a 6 hour endurance.  Same bet H-Man.   We can do Double or Nothing, or I can just pay up on this one, and we can bet again.  My claim, again, during the endurance will be:

1:28:00 or better for a fastest lap.  Not sure on a 3 hour average though  :-/

QuoteSunny, what the hell are you talking about.  First of all, I never went up against you once that whole day.

Whatever the excuse, I thought the bet was that you will be clocking 1:27's as you told me, or you being faster than me?  Anyway, I knew you would come up with all kind of excuses........  Will see what you can do in Gingerman next month.  I couldn't race you in a real race as my 400 isn't allow in your race class, you know?   ??? ;D  Tell me which trackday and where, and I'll do the best to meet you, and we'll have a mock race for a number of laps of your choice!   ;D

Hahahaha.............  Are you getting mad Dan because you can't handle the truth??????   ;D  Come on, you bring this to yourself.........   ::)  I/others were just yanking your chain at beginning when you kept on talking bigger...........   ::)

There is no doubt that you definitely had done more trackdays than anyone we knew of.  However, that doesn't necessarily mean you are faster than those with less track time!  Everyone has differnt different learning curve and natural talent to begin with.

The truth is that you never hand out any asses last year at Gingerman, at least I didn't see it.  Can someone prove it?   ???  I passed you whenever I want.  When you said lets go play for real, I make sure you are in front of me, and pass you with relative ease on my 400 while you are on the Mille R, then I let you by again and pass you again.  I did remember you were complainting about your tires, but mine were more shot than yours by any means.  If you want witness, we got plenty.   ;D   Ok, since this is truly bothering you, I won't suggested that you are slower than me or others from now on..........   ::)  In fact, you are FATSER than me!  Happy now?   ??? ::) ;D

Sunny it dosen't matter.  The subject is mute, and we won't even talk about it any more unless we enter the same race.  As far as the bike excuse, I'll tell you what, come to the next round, and I'll give you one of my bikes to ride, and then we'll be in the same class.   ;)  This discussion is over.   :-*

No problem!   ;D  ;)  I'll mostly likely ride Ryan's R6 instead!

I said I was really sorry about the 748 incident...........   :-/ :'(  Thank you for not asking me to pay for anything when I offer you new parts for the scratched ones!!!!!!!!!   ;)

Want to come race at Nelson with me this weekend?   ???  It's a WERA North Central event.  Don't worry, most of the original DAN haters there probably hate me more than you now!   ;D

Sunny, I don't care about the 748.  Plus, you don't have the money to replace what you broke.  :P  How much you think a carbon painted side fairing costs for a 748  :o  You would've been on Gov. cheese for the rest of the year.  :P ;D

Can't come to Nelsons this weekend.  Going to Chicago.  I have a meeting on Fri. all day for work, then spending the weekend shopping in downtown Chicago with the wife.  Already planned, and she'd kill me if I back out.
