My mom was vacationing there once when the bike show was going on. She saw all sorts of people carrying their bags of free loot, and watched desperately to see if a spare poster or something might have gotten left on the train, but alas...
I had a ticket two years ago, but I decided I'd rather participate in my first official race weekend at Grattan as an officially licensed racer. Unfortunately this was also only about 4 days after September 11th, so I wasn't very keen at traveling abroad at the time.
Maybe in a couple of years (since it is only held in Milan every other year, it's in Munich the other years).
Oh man! Would I!?! My two "passions" together in one show! That would be so cool to see!
I don't get to ride the mountain bikes as much due to racing. But it's always fun when I do get the time. Right now most of my riding has been on my cyclocross bike, as the race season for that starts right as the road race season ends.
