Post by: GAMEDIC on August 26, 2003, 08:10:50 PM
Well i have talked to the track and because they sell VP fuel at the track they are not going to allow me to sell it there... but keep this in mind...if you buy it from the track you will NOT get any contengency. you MUST buy from me to get it.... so i am taking orders now so please either call or go to my web page and click on VP ...be sure to leave me a # i can call you with your order..

Well i'm not sure on them... alot of people sell the fuel.. but there are only a few that you can get paid if you buy from.... and if it is a cross region race then yes it would be SE also i will have to check on that region i was not aware that FL even had a trackside rep there... i will look into it..but as far as the southeast like i said there are only 2 SE reps that you can buy from and get paid...that is myself i do CCS..and Cindy Ivey...she does WERA...

Who is Lisa in Texas?  Do you have a number for her?  I don't know of any Lisa in Texas and I would like to talk to her.

As for the SE region, beginning August 11th, I am the only person to receive the SE results.  I will not pay contingency for anyone without a receipt from Greg (GAMEDIC) or myself.

The Florida region has not currently set up a trackside vendor so in a few cases where there have been races with no trackside vendors they will make special arrangements.  In this case where their will be a trackside vendor, you must purchase the fuel from that vendor.

This is the first time I've heard of this...Cindy, are you the contact for VP contingency?  If so, I would love to talk to you about plans for next year.  If you get a chance, please email me at tiffineykelcher@clearchannel.com.

Yes it will be fine in the drum and we have either 30gal drum and a 54gal drum of Ultimate 4
30gal = $240.00
54gal = $410.00
Let me know..remember i will have to know ahead of time as i can NOT sell at the track but as long as you buy it from me ahead of time you will be eligible for contengency

Hey, I can sell you guys a 55 gal drum of 87 BP for $100. Remember, Im the only one that can get you BP contengency and you have to pay me now so I can go to the 7-11 and get it. Then I will deliver it to you at the track that sells BP too. But remember you cant get contengency money if you buy it at the race track. You can only get contencency money if you buy it from me, but not at the track, they said they would kick me out if I sold it at the track. So I will take your order, but only if its 10 days before the race so I can make sure I can get it from the 7-11 and bring it to the track, but I cant sell it at the track only bring it to you.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just so you guys know.  The trackside vendors spend about 10-15 hours a week going through receipts and results.  At least I do and that will increase now that I am doing CCS also.  The reason that VP set the contingency up the way they did is because the only way we trackside vendors get paid for all the hours we put in is by selling fuel.  And the only way for VP to sell fuel at all the races is to have a dedicated trackside vendor.

Hey GAMEDIC,  U should bring it to the track but, if anybody wants to buy it there take and put the gas in your vehicle and take it out to the road.  They cant say anything cause its not on there property. Just some advice for u.

I am already aware of this ;)
But it does make it much better in any case if it's paid for in advance...at least that way there would be no way ever i would be out of the fuel you want ... not much chance of that anyway..but you know..lol

I think Greg and Cindy want to have a good relationship with the tracks and to do that means to have honest sales.  If they request that you do not sell at the track then they must abide by the rules or face being banned from the track for good.  Definately not worth it.  It only takes a few minutes to preorder and you've got the best VP reps around, Cindy Ivey and Greg...honest and dependable.  Just my 2 cents...
