Title: LW Supersport
Post by: tigerblade on May 15, 2019, 03:18:26 PM
So I've been away for 15 years now but might be re-acquiring my 2nd gen SV650 racebike soon. It was very lightly modified and kept well within supersport rules back in the day but looks like some of the rules (I downloaded the pdf) may have changed and I wanted to be sure.

Looks like slicks are allowed in supersport now?

Can the master cylinder be changed, just have to stay with stock rotor size?

Are tank risers allowed (pretty sure they weren't back then)?

Thanks in advance.

Stock rotor size. Any master. I didn't see anything in the rules against risers in ss. Slicks allowed now.

Thank you! I know in supersport we were supposed to be ready to lift the tank but maybe that was for modification to the airbox.

Don't see anything about the master cylinder? If I go aftermarket, does it have to be the same size?

Nope.
