Title: Camping in a tent at Daytona
Post by: L8 Braker on February 05, 2016, 03:33:15 PM
I'll be there next month and will probably only stay 2 days (Thursday/Friday).  And hotels are minimum $150 per night, so I've been thinking about setting up a tent for the one night.

Anybody ever do this?   Was the experience good or bad?   I don't have any issues sleeping outside or in a tent, BTW.  I think my only concern is that I don't recall ever seeing any shower facilities?

There are showers.  When you come out of the paddock they are in the middle of the infield area to the left.

Well, hot dog!  Now I'm excited   :ahhh:

I usually stay up at the Best Western for $150/night.  But now I might have to give this camping thing a try.  I'll just sleep in the enclosed trailer.  Thanks for the info
