I know they like to wait till next year to hand the Regional trophies out, but why couldn't they do it at Daytona? I mean most of those winners are down there anyway to race (It'll be nice to start on the front row this year). Is it just too many awards to cart around? (Trust me logistics this year for Daytona is going to be tight for myself and the 5 other riders I'm bringing) I know i wouldn't mind to be able to have the trophy I worked hard for sitting on the mantle during the holidays! I admit it. I'm a child when it comes to these sorts of things and waiting till march is going to be excruciating!
Think it has to do with them getting engraved. That takes some time.
