Title: Nice job by everyone at Road America!
Post by: jjb on July 14, 2013, 12:40:52 AM
Hey everyone.

I made the trip to RA from Colorado to do the CCS double header this year and it was fantastic!  I hadn't raced with CCS since 2007 and I want to say that the whole program is VERY much improved.  All of the officials were helpful and courteous (in stark contrast to what I experienced previously) and the event went very smoothly and on schedule.   From getting my license & registering (thanks Eric!) to tech, practice, race calls, to even not having to sit on pre-grid with my motor roasting - it was all good.

So big kudos to the CCS officials & turnworkers!  (https://www.ccsforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.frii.com%2Fjjb%2Femote%2Fhail.gif&hash=d7566ae5ebecb43369c30ba2d3cc51137cd10ca7)

I'm hoping to make the trip out to Daytona for the ROC (it's been since '96 that I was there) just because I had such a great time at Road America.

If any of you want to come race with the MRA in Colorado (http://www.mra-racing.org/ (http://www.mra-racing.org/)), drop me a line. We have a pretty fun track here that I think you'd find worth the drive!  http://www.highplainsraceway.com/ (http://www.highplainsraceway.com/)
