Title: Colder weather tire pressure
Post by: brendan113 on October 10, 2012, 02:51:30 PM
I just purchased a set of pirelli sc in green/green for upcoming tpm race/track day, also for start of next season.
Question is how should I adjust my tire pressures for the colder weather?

If no one has a suggestion here I would call the tire manufacturer/Rep in charge of race tires or ask one of Pirelli's track side vendors.

I usualy run 31/24, should i still be aiming for these same pressures?
Or overinflating/underinflating, and what will each cause? I'm not realy looking for pressures more of the how things work if that makes sense.
thanks

Generally you want to bring the pressure up a bit in cold conditions.
