Title: flo commander ss legal or not?
Post by: xlr8tn1 on May 15, 2002, 06:56:44 PM
Is the flo-commander supersport legal?  Information can be found at http://www.flo-commander.com/index.html.  Since power commanders are legal on fuel injected bikes, this is probably ok, but wanted to check for carburated bikes.

Got me again.

What bike would you be using it on?  Carbs work pretty well, when tuned correctly.  And this is new.  Probably not going to be anyone that is using that which will be able to give you a base line.

I have seen a device similar on snowmobiles. The sled has to be first properly jetted. Then you use the device to adlust the jetting externally for temperature variations, both the air temp and exauhst temp. So for two strokes it would be awsome. Just jet once then just twist a little knob with each temp change. I would highly recommend a set EGT gauges for two strokes.

Save your money... It'd be better spent on brake pads or race entries.
