was looking to get a 5gal pail of MR12 ? Anyone gonna be there selling fuel?
Hey Greg, not to jack your thread but thought this was funny. Just raced at Road Atlanta. At the local convenience store you can stop in just before you get to the track and pick up your beer, water, ice, fill up the truck, and pick up a couple cans of VP race fuel all in one stop. :biggrin: How friggin convenient is that?
When I raced the Vette there a few months ago, I think there were 2 tanks with VP painted on the side, I'll have to review my pics.
That would be cool Al, getting some race fuel at the local beer stop.! Henry, they may have some form of race fuel, but MR12 is an oxygenated fuel. Has to be stored in a sealed container or the oxygenate just evaporates and the fuel looses much of it's potency. I have seen some of the high octane fuels sold in bulk, like at JenningsGP, but the mr12 and other fuels I have never seen sold that way..
Yep, they have the tank like at Jennings, didn't mean to imply you'd want to run it.
I used to run the old U4, great stuff and the bike loved it.
