I run in am heavy weight class and I am setting up a 2010 R1 what I would like to know is what is a good gear ratio for njmp thunderbolt I am not running in unlimited class yet thanks for the help.

If you are planning on running an R1, you had better plan on running unlimited or getting protested/DQ'ed in HW.

I agree with Andi, your R1 is an unlimited class bike (determined by engine size and/or type).
