Well, everyone, Nate can now safety wire like a hardened veteren. All he needed was the right tool and a little instruction. No one needs to worry about his bolts popping onto the track mid turn, they will now dangle safely by the neat, stylie wires. ;D
Yes, yes they will. I will be getting a proper safety wire pliers ASAP, too.
Thanx for your help Alexa! Your sticker is on the back of the tail ;D
And, as Alexa can verify, I did one of the worst-looking jobs of safety wiring anyone has ever seen! :o
But, now, thanx to the safety wire master's help, I can wire with the best of 'em!
Ah, you learn much, young grasshopper. ;D
Seems like JC Whitney has a cheap set. I got an extra pair there several years ago.
I thought the point of safety wiring was to prevent the bolt from turning out...not to catch them if they do :-/ ???

Sorry, too many things to think about and I missed the ;D at the end.

The duck-taped frame worked great...never wobbled when I was on the back wheel, baby ;D
