Heard of anyone running a slick front and a dot rear ?
Saw some one selling slick front and PR5 as a set, take offs with 1 weekend on them .
was going to buy and then find a slick rear and a dot front but ?
GAS $ SUCK :lmao:
yeah working for my uncle (tom mason) with mrt i have seen this alot. a lot of the faster guys seem to run the slick fronts with the rear dot. just make sure there legal for the classes u run
Yeah, I've seen it and done it. Again, yeah, make sure you're in the right class with the slick front.
Sometimes, some development will come from slicks before DOT's, and the other way around too. Just depends upon the development cycle.

Yes.
I hear Jensen was running a slick front, Rain rear..
Just kiddin, but if he was you know everyone else would be too....
Jensen was running a hand cut knobby on the rear and an old scooter tire on the front.
He also had one hand tied behind his back and was wearing his left boot backward to accommodate the super-duper-uber GP sidesways shift pattern.
Super secret stuff, don't tell anyone I told y'all.
I couldn't tell what tires he was running he passed me so fast !
jensen was switching from slick front and dot rear to dot front an slick rear when he was throwing down the lap after lap track record
I prefer a loose bike and ran that setup once by mistake without knowing it... dropped 2 seconds and ran that until I got rid of the bike. I'd say if it works, go with it.
