Anybody planning on watching the action in the Milwaukee area? Corse Superbikes in Saukville (~20 miles N of Milwaukee) is hosting the Wisconsin Area Ducati Enthusiasts from 10-4. If you haven't been to Corse yet, it's worth checking out - besides all the sexy Italians on display (some scantily clad - like the Monster ;-) there's a great cafe serving food, cappu, and drinks. More info: http://www.milwaukeeducati.com/home.html
We'll be there...
I'm supposed to be going to a sports bar in Lansing, on the south side of Chicago. Kim Olson, Joe Riffice and Dave Vaugn will be there, along with the racers who rid out of HYRO. Any other Chicago boys interested? I'll post the address when I get it from Joe, so watch this thread.
I know that Rosno, Studelska and DeChant will be at Corse... Probably a lot of my other friends, too. I wish I could be in two places at once! :'(
We need clones! ;D
And Bikini Madness mwuhahahha
Myself, DanO, and a few other friends are all heading over to a buddy's house to watch it. Big screen, beer, and a grill is all we need :D
Tho that Corse Superbikes place sounds kinda cool. I don't know that I or anybody I know plans to be awake by 10am tho - let alone to be awake early enough to drive 20 miles north of Milwaukee...
Muahahaha!!!
Let the MADNESS begin!!
Sure...have a Ducati party for the 200 a million miles from me...lol. The closest Ducati dealer to me is about 100 miles away, and their prices SUCK! They also don't sponsor any riders. Bummer. Oh, well. Anybody want to loan me some jing to open a Ducati shop down here? I'll throw a HUGE party. ;D
QuoteI don't know that I or anybody I know plans to be awake by 10am tho...
You need some kids...
:P
Darn, no sports bar will be covering Daytona near where I live. I guess I will just have to jump on my bike, drive the 45 minutes or so and go watch it live.
Darn the luck ;D

Don't worry Dave, it'll get better. Just wait until your kids are in their "tweens" or teens, they just don't pop out of bed in the morning any more. ::) (But then again neither does Paul :-/)
Dawn ;)
I'm just excited that the youngest will be starting kindergarten in the fall.

Oh by the way - they have that 'special - send a note home to the parents - class' in 5th grade. My daughter even surprised me with some of the questions she asked. :o

That would be the
THIRD place I'd like to be Sunday. I also have a friend who lives 45 minutes from Daytona, and he's been calling me with stories of pole qualifying, demo riding the Aprillia Mille R, ect. ect. ect. I'm trying not to think about it...
Got the widescreen just for this purpose...and I'll be watching it this weekend. ;D

However, the television schedule is still unknown. Most things have been moved up a couple of hours, which overlaps many regular Speed Channel programs.
Everyone, cross your fingers for a full day of televised racing.

One day chock full of races. It'll be like a CCS/FUSA weekend, but only televised. ;D
I think I will go to the local Hooters Sunday and watch all the action as the fast girls perform...uh...I mean...as the fast racers perform in the 200. I Sure hope the rain clears up in time!
