Damn Dave,  That is a tough one to swallow.  I always wondered how such a huge guy was able to go so fast on a bike.  I will be making a donation.  Fritz was always there to answere any rookie questions I had.

Sorry to hear that.  I bought my current race bike at that shop in Lansing.  Good experience with good peeps.

I recall of Fritz Kling racing at Grattan in the mid 90's with Todd Harrington, Rich Oliver & David Sadowski in  the Unlimited Supebike races. I think I recall of him beating Rich OIliver in that race. Fritz was on his FZR 1000 & Oliver was on his TZ 250. That was one of the coolest races I can recall of watching when I was getting started in Road racing. There was a pass at least 2 to 3 times a lap!

I was shocked to hear the news of Fritz. He is a big guy and it blew me away at how fast he could go!
I wish him well.

Fritz is a true class guy and was fun to compete against in the early 90's in the AMA-EBC pro endurance series. My prayers go out to him and his loved ones. I will light a candle. Peace, Kevin
