Lonny Michels' racebikes are snowed in in IOWA and he can't get to them!.....
BTW...so is Lonny....and he is down to his last few pieces of deer jerky :lmao:
Lonny, I feel your pain...
2 1/2 hours to get to work this morning. Love that lake effect... :kicknuts:
Dude, I've got deer sausage with cheese and jalepenos in the fridge and your GSX-R wheels in my basement only 40 miles south. You could be here in 3 days...
Mine's taking a nap.

Alexa...Is that a Great Pyrenees?
Samoyed. Great Pyrenees have ears that lay down. Beautiful dogs as well.
Anyone have a Bernese puppy for sale?
Alexa- I am no dog genius but, he doesnt appear the sled pulling type-those are rolls of fur wrapped all around-?
They are a sled pulling breed, along with herding instincts and are moderately protective.
They are in the attention hound group. ;)
Yup, Sammy's are working dogs. They come from Siberia and are meant to herd reindeer, pull sleds and protect the family. They can keep working down to 60 below zero. Ours refuses to come in during winter.
NO !!!! It's to hot in there. I'm not coming in! You can't make me !!!(https://www.ccsforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi183.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fx91%2Fpalanon%2Fzoie1.jpg&hash=dd7f468d2ba152ff7d8e4bcda87c77b435764dbc)
Very cool. Male or female? How big is yours? Bronte goes about 80 lbs in the winter because we don't walk her as much as we should, closer to 75 lbs in the summer, and that's a good fightin' weight for her.
Zoie's a female. Probably 70 - 80 lbs. She's a pure breed we rescued years ago. Very large for a female, probably 4-6" taller and 15 lbs. heavier than your average female. Probably the most loving and kind dog I've ever owned.
Here is a sled dog.
Yup, Bronte is the same, large and affectionate. She'll knock you over to try to give you a kiss. She loves people, kids, puppies and most other dogs. It's super cute when she sleeps on the sofa and the cat curls right up next to her.
Hey Brian, is that Bohr or Einstein? (I keep forgetting, sorry)
Not technically a musher but I sure wouldn't recommend telling him that while you're holding his leash, we might need to send out a rescue party.

Sled dogs up here are little and skinny...imagine that! They're athletes!
We just had the UP 200 last weekend...I'm sick of sled dogs anyway.
What is the snow like in the UP?
I know cold & white except were the dogs were :err:
I wish I could live where I own property, Mancelona.
Typical snow fall there is betwee 12 & 17 feet.
Dang I miss Michigan.
The snow is deep in the UP! We've probably got about 3.5' on the ground now. We'll have a white Easter for sure. I don't mind as long as it's not blizzarding in April and isn't below zero.
It's definitely a great winter for winter sports this year up here this year.
We have a whopping 3.5 inches and everyone is going nuts in Pittsburgh. :ahhh:
It all fell last night.

I want a sunny spring-like Easter weekend. I want bunnies hopping and birdies singing. (https://www.ccsforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clicksmilies.com%2Fs1106%2Fnatur%2Fnature-smiley-008.gif&hash=7623bdc63a90c69bbcd5484fd0f9907ea718ae1f)
I want little kids running in the park to find hidden easter egg goodies. (https://www.ccsforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clicksmilies.com%2Fs1106%2Faktion%2Faction-smiley-078.gif&hash=a401748edf49c391b646a404b324eb361c1d8d3d)
If it snows on Easter, you forfeit all rights to any chocolate bunny Peter Cottontail may bring you.
(And may all of your peeps melt)
Have a nice day!(https://www.ccsforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clicksmilies.com%2Fs1106%2Fnatur%2Fnature-smiley-006.gif&hash=31082721f00ac7064f085810fbb0581bbf8e6eca)

You just liked my excessive use of smilies.
Smiles helped ,but I believe you spoke to the cumulative thoughts of us all (especially your other mid-west folks) BRING ON the Warm weather ASAP! :spank: :ahhh: 8)
2 sure signs of spring no matter what in less than two weeks:
1 - The time changes!
2 - Daytona--wish I could be there and can't wait for Hayden to tell daddy that's where she wants to go!
I only remember one non-white Easter and that was probably over 10 years ago. This is the UP!!!
Happy Spring my little chickies!
