Title: QuickShifter Settings
Post by: Gxsr_Sarge on February 04, 2008, 02:20:15 PM
I just installed the DynoJet QS/Ignition Module on my Gsxr-600.  I'm told by the factory that the default settings are 65 milli-seconds for the shift kill time (power interrupt) at a min of 4000 rpm.  I havn't used it yet but the min. RPM seems kind of low.  Anyone care to share their settings/experiences with the QS? Thanks in advance.

i started out with the recommended settings and after a couple laps it was obvious it didn't work for me.  i ended up at 55 - mili-seconds and 7000 rpm. that works perfect. hope that helps.  the 65  seemed a little slow for me.

I really appreciate your responses.  I thought that the default 4000 RPM was probably best suited for "street" use and way too low for racing.  I'll crank it up and prob lower the kill time as well.

What bike do you have?  I have a GSX-R750 (2006) and the 65 was too short.  I changed it up and eventually 81 worked for me, at 8000rpm.
