Thanks Darrell, I spoke to Rick tonight and will drop my engine off after the holidays are behind us.

We have'nt even talked about $ yet. I am getting the head milled, valve job,new bearings, shift kit and slipper installed.Oh yeah, and a manual timing chain tensioner.
What's the gain your going to get from a manual timing chain adjuster?

No gains. Adjustability only. My spare engine has 17,000 hard miles on it and the factory hydraulic timing chain tensioner is worn out.
How do you know it's worn out? Heard a noise in the motor or somethink? Sorry for so many question, I like to pick peoples heads for info. Thanks!

Yeah, they start to get a little "ticky" when they get a lot of miles. Maybe the new bearings would give it enough extra oil pressure to take the noise away but I am going to put manual adjusters in both engines anyway.
