Title: Vortex Clip on Torque specs?
Post by: GSKirk on August 20, 2007, 03:26:29 PM
Looking for Torque Values on Vortex clip on mounts and bar mounts.  The Yamaha OEM specs for their clip ons seem high at 36 nm.

thanks!

90 inch pounds or 10 nm.

I'm assuming it's a 6mm bolt correct?

If you're racing with them, you may want to think about how tight you go with them - you don't want them to move while you're riding (trust me on this one - found out all about that going into T1 at Blackhawk), but you also may or may not want them to move when you crash.
