That was an excellent article on Donnie.  Thanks for sharing.

Racing - no matter what type is dangerous.  One of the drivers for our stock cars broke his neck and was paralyzed from the neck down.  My uncle broke his neck, but he was lucky, he recovered fully.

Anyone who races should be aware of the possible consequences and have a plan as to:  Finances, help with recovery, and job status.  That way if the unfortunate happens, you and your family would have some idea of the next steps to take.

What an indepth article!  Glad to know Donnie is improving.

I just wish local newspapers would print articles about local racers at other times ... like when they win at the racetrack ... or even if they don't win, just a racing profile would be great.
