Title: SV Swingarm Mods
Post by: Wayne on April 10, 2002, 07:34:38 PM
I've noticed MB's SVs and others around the pits whose rear axles seem much farther forward than the average SV. I assume this is an effort to shorten the wheelbase and quicken steering.

Has anyone tried to pull a link or two out of an SV chain and modify the swingarm accordingly to fit? Any pros and cons about stability verses quicker steering?  I'm guessing ride height would counter any stability issues, but I'm just guessing.

Not that the SV is very slow to steer anyway!
