Title: 1st gen SV front axel spacer dimensions
Post by: SV88 on April 05, 2007, 10:46:42 AM
I cut one out of electrical conduit and used it last year but my brakes are dragging so it's probably not the right width.  What is that dimension (I sold the speedo pick-up..)

I will measure, but i removed the speedo pickup plastic portion and used the existing spacer of the speedo pick up seems to work fine, although you need to get a sealed bearing as the pickup seals that bearing.

Thanks for the sealed bearing tip.  I'll just keep an eye on the bearing and replace it with a sealed one.  Checked the front wheel drag on my new SV1000 and it's a little less than on the race SV650.  The spacer I cut is probably pretty close anyway..
