I'm looking to preregister for a few races and was wondering in what classes a stock (motor) SV would be the most competitive.
Thanks
Lightweight Supersport, Lightweight Superbike for a start.
Your chassis set up will make you the most competitive. That's more of a time, knowledge, and then money issue.
none of em if your slow... :ahhh:
first year racing? SS, SB, GP, GT... A little extra motor wont make a big difference... get some help with setup, take a school or 3. Should be competitve enough for any LW class.
good luck!! :thumb:
and almost on cue here there's SD beating me to the post!
don't forget T-bikes and supertwins (and LW F-40 if you're an old fart). Heck, my first twinsprint at RA I ran in 11 classes. The more seat time the better.
Thanks for the input guys.
*yes, this will be my first full season..did the last 2 race weekends in 06.
*Bike set up should be good
*I've been schooled
*just need to learn the tracks..I've only been to BHF
*I am a young fart thank you..LWF40 here I come.
*as far as being slow...well, need some work on my right wrist...seems to be arthritic..won't bend to much!
what's the difference between GTights and SS
sorry, I meant LW GP and SS
I guess GT lights is Endurance
LW GP...the two stroke guys run in that class as well as SVs and the like...
and man are they quick.... :ahhh:
