We ride at my shop (Speed Tech Motorsports) in Oshkosh, WI. It's a smallers sized parking lot but we have a hell of a lot of fun. We have been doing this for about 1 year now. It started last winter to cure our boredom of not racing. It's now a must do learning tool for racing.
I sell Redcat models and the Redcat 50 is pictured below of where I am backing it in. That is a stock one other than the tires & the footpegs being cut back a little. Were pretty new to the machine but so far I have the track record as of last thursday with a 0:12.3!
I kind of took it to a new level last week by sliding the bike. I really can't do that on the other bikes.
I was very surprised at how I could throw the Redcat 50 around.
The Redcat 50 is just like a Honda XR/CRF 50 engine wise. It apparently has the same mold engine it's just the chassis is different just slightly but better. The swingarm is 2" longer & it has adjustable bar positions stock. It also come with an 18mm carb where the Hondas have 13mm carbs. Plus the forks are 3"longer on the Redcat.
I believe I have found the perfect parking lot racer.
The tires are Bridgestone BT39SS series Motard 10" tires.
We will be having races all year long every Thursday night. I teach racers how to go faster by body positioning & riding style. I also train new kids to ride on asphalt. I am working on a 11yr old kid right now who will be racing in the '08 season of CCS on a 2 stroke 125. He's already pretty quick.

If anyone is interested in the purchase of a Redcat 50cc training bike give me a call @ (920) 236-0000. I have some smokin deals on them with race tires installed already.
We are working on a suspension kit for them. They are way undersprung for the big guys.
Plus for all you GP shifter guys this thing already has a GP shift pattern from the factory!
Semi Auto Transmission (no clutch)
10" knobby tires
All aftermarket CRF 50 parts fit on this thing for the engine. You can bore & stoke these out to a 102cc kit if you want! Popular kit is the 82cc bore kit.
Thats my next project on this thing.
We can even put them on the dyno & tune em!

How much are you selling them for with the tires?  Will you ship one (TN 38501)?

Thanks,
Jim

I call a hoax! The first two pictures were staged, he's holding a non-moving bike up with his knee. A-ha they were posted by Mr. -130 smites.

Mike Reibe high-sided my kid's Z-50 like 6 years ago at BHF during a pit bike race...  Anything's possible...

Aww Man!! You guys are funny!
I'll have to do a demo for video. I don't mean to brag but I really don't think too many others can do this.
That is what practice does for ya!
I believe in about 75 laps I ate shit only 3 times. One was those pics you see of me just starting to figure it out. I really need some metal sliders. I'm on my knee about 75% of the lap.
Man I tell you, it's comparable if not funner than roadracing.
It really is roadracing but at slower speeds where you don't get hurt.
After riding that thing I can't wait to get on my new ZX6R! I won't be comfortable unless the rear tire is sliding into the corners! It just won't feel right.

No doubt about it. Anyone who is fortunate to experience what Jason can do (and does) on a bike, will witness some incredible feats (no shit).   Please do not misrepresent others giving him shit against his talent.  He is the real deal.

Unfortunately for Garth & several others they had to witness me getting almosted violated in my space at the track. The laps times where closing up on my times & I sat & thought about how to go faster. So after thinking about getting to my roots from dirt tracking as a kid I figured out how to slide the thing all the way around the track. I will admit the ground was very wet from a misting rain we had while riding. I wonder what I will be able to do on the thing in the dry!
It will be harder to slide in the dry but I still think it's possible.
Those pictures were taken exactly 1 week ago in my parking lot. The temp was about 35 and it was raining lightly. It was the first time I had ever rode that bike. I was smiling ear to ear after riding that thing. I don't think the bikes tires were ever inline with each other.

For anyone who wants to buy one the normal retail price is $900 on them. The 10" motard tires are $125. I will sell the bike set up with the tires already on it plus you still get the knobby tires all for $900. Shipping will be extra through yellow freight.
I'm telling you people I put a 10 year old kid on one who never rode on blacktop before & within 1 hr he was draggin knee on both sides having a blast. Can't wait to see how he does when he starts roadracing in 08 on 125's. He is already within a few tenths of a second of some of my amatuer racers best times.
Let me know if you want one. I have 4 in stock. It takes about a week to get more in.
Soon we will have different springs for the front & rear. Plus I sell hop up kits for the motor.

Yea, I can do alot of stuff with photoshop, but I'm not that good...  There's a reason those two shots are blurry-  He was going too freakin' fast!  (Actually it was cuz it was dark out, and I suck at manual focus. lol)
