Post by: HAWK on October 03, 2006, 01:13:58 PM
Anyone know anything about the Teka box and wheather it can reprogram the Revlimiter on a 2003 Suzuki SV650, I want to lower my Revlimiter to 10500 if possible.

Brian at Valley Racing (708 946 1440) has a TEKA box, and used it to reprogram my 03 SV.  I don't know about the redline question, but the TEKA worked great on my SV.  It had the smoothest, sweetest powerband of any bike I've owned when Brian was through with it.
E me Paul.

No it won't change the rev limiter.

Yea, I just talked to the guys at Valley and they told me the same thing. They suggested the Dyna rev limiter. Looks like it will work for me, I just want to knock the limit down from 11.500 to 10,500 because the engine doesn't really make much torque up there anyway and I a little paranoid about the second gen crank issue.
