Title: Marchesini Vs. PVM
Post by: gsxrsrad1000 on April 13, 2006, 08:00:11 AM
Just looking for some insight on which wheel you racers recommend.  I will be purchasing these for street use and Track day use.  Do you recommend one over the other? if so why?  Thanks for your opinions and advice in advance.

The weight is about the same, and price is about the same.  For your street use, it comes down to bling factor.  Go with whatever one you like the look of better.

They're both a good wheel (or so I'm told since I can't afford them myself...).

I've used both and they are both great wheels.

I think the forged magnesium marchesini's are lighter than the PVM's but a nice feature of the PVM is that they use the OEM bolt pattern for sprockets where Marchesini use their own pattern (thus requiring buying custom sprockets from them)
