Title: WTK: Tip Over Sensor 2006 GSXR
Post by: Speedballer347 on April 11, 2006, 01:03:01 PM
Where is the tip-over switchy on the 2006 GSXR's?
Is everyone still disconnecting them, or have they been improved?
If not, is mineral oil still the modification to do?

TIA

Never did anything with mine on my 2001.  Was in the tail.  Usually a service manual will help you find it.

Of coarse, that may not apply to the 06.

On the 2K GSX-Rs, I believe it was mounted in front of the battery on the front of the inner fender tray, kind of by the upper frame cross-member.  I just put a couple of zip-ties on each side to keep it from swinging over to the side.  This way, it was easy to put back to working condition if necessary.
