Title: Winter time activity
Post by: TZDeSioux on December 02, 2002, 07:50:15 AM
I went to the store saturday and bought myself a Tamiya 1/12 scale plastic model kit of the 2001 Sito Pons Honda NSR500. It gives you enough decals so you can choose to build the Capirossi or Barros replica. It's very time consuming and the paint is pretty expensive but it's a good way to pass time when the weather is crappy out. Last winter, I built a 2000 Telefonica Movistar Suzuki RGV500 Gamma and the winter before that, I built a 1999 Antena 3 Yamaha YZR500. These models are pretty precise and almost exact to the real thing. Check them out at http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/plastic/112motorcycleseries/index.html

Eric bought me Moto GP 2 this weekend...looks like the wedding planning is going on the back burner for a while...

 ;D

P.S.--I beat Eric every time...life is sweet!  What happened, darlin?  You look so fast on the track!  Then we get ya on the PS2 and you lose OVER and OVER to a GIRL!!!

Nah, you're just hoping I never start racing on a real track...then you'd have to hang your purdy little head in shame when all your pit buddies say "Hey Eric, wasn't that your wife that passed you--TWICE?!?!"

Just set up the wireless network and internet access for my PS2.  Can't wait for MotoGP3 with full online support...then we can all play ;D

BTW, if anyone wants to play PS2 Madden online I'm ready :)

Tiffiney and Eric:

LOL!!!!

That sounds just like Paul and myself.  We have been married for 14 years now.

Who ever said competition wasn't good for a marriage?

Dunno when it's coming out, other than "soon":

And I've heard it has online gaming...but the website doesn't say that???

Dawn, you see, the guys just don't understand that if we wanted to, we could race and kick their butts.  However, being the selfless individuals that we are, we keep it on the TV and let the guys go out and bring home the wood and brag to their buddies.  They just don't realize that any time we feel like it we can zip up some leathers and go lap Hayden.  We'd just hate to see that pretty boy cry.

 ;D
