Anything i should know for my first race weekend as far as how things work at the track. im goign to arrive thursday night. will i be able to get into the track? i can just register for the lp trackday that friday morning right??? also....can you camp at the track throughout the weekend? anything else i should know about? thanks guys

You should be able to get in thursdat night and yes they do allow camping. The LP track day you can register friday at the track. First time racing there? What class(es) are you running in?
not my first time at the track but yes first time racing there. i was going to run mw ss, hw ss, and mw sb. maybe a gto. idk yet. free to camp?
I'm pretty sure its free to camp, never did, but, I think its all included with your gate fees.
Camping is included with your gate fee for the weekend...only extra is for the lock on the box to get electricity. there is always a great group of people at Summit ...so if you have any questions once you get there just ask. oh and make sure you bring all your gear...and spare parts ;)
might I suggest you give the track a call...
there may be some restrictions on getting into the track before 7pm on Friday(unless there's a friday motorcycle event). Most of the time Friday's at Summit are already rented to someone else during the day so they don't let people even in the gate till 7pm the night before an event.

Since I've taken over the cooking duties for the club I don't corner work as much as I used to. The only time I seem to make it out on track is during drink runs for stopped sessions.
but..I enjoy cooking and have fun feeding everyone. I need to find some more helpers tho. I need ideas on how to reach more people and ask them to come be a part of MARRC.

how much is electricity normally? and what about the lp usa trackday beforehand for licensed racers?
it was either $5 or $10 for the key for the lock..... you'll see the number on the box once you get parked and unload you'll have to go back up to the entrance gate for the key...and I think it was refundable once the key is returned for the lock - but a lot of times you can hook up with someone that has already paid to get the key and work it out - was gonna say with a beer or two..but your previous post said your under age yet ::)

last time elect with $20 with $10 for the key/lock which you get back. So thats $30 on top of the gatefee
Electric is $20 plus $10 deposit for the key/lock. When you turn in the key&lock as you leave you get your $10 back. Bring cash!
