Does anyone know which exhaust OTHER than the Akrapovic/Aprilia Ti system would be most beneficial for the street. The bike is a 2004 Aprilia RSVR Factory model. I looked at Arrow, Akrapovic, and Leo Vinci. None of that is really needed for a street bike. i have the Leo Vinci high mount for the track. Need something with the biggest bang for the buck for the street. Thanks.

You should have gone with a real bike like the GSXR 1000 and got a D&D pipe, make that mofo loud!!! ;D
::) Sure. Then all you need is Ohlins R&T forks, OZ wheels, Ohlins shock, carbon airbox, and a few other carbon goodies to bring the equipment on a GSXR to the equiv. of the Aprilia. Hmmm... and the Aprilia is cheaper on the racers program. Interesting.... but then again, the Aprilia doesn't have all the "street bling" that a GSXR does. But then again, why do you need Ohlins for the street. But wait, the GSXR has 150 hp that you can use all day on the street ::) :P
I'll have my '00 race busa take your european bike to school any day of the week on the track. My '05 will be on the track soon enough ;)
For the street, just use the stock system. Loud street bikes do not gain motorcyclists any friends. Stock the bike has more than enough performance for street riding. If you need more, perhaps you need to review how you are riding on public roads.
Little tip for those w/ street bikes and a loud exhausts:
The cops can HEAR you!!
Duh! Roger rides back and forth to work through residential neighborhoods. (at 5AM no less) Stock exhaust. No one shakes a fist at him, no one calls the cops. He had a buddy who was doing the same thing with an after market exhaust. Guess who got the most tickets?
Loud pipes do not saves lives, they annoy wives, and not just yours but other peoples wives as well. Don't care? Cool, be ready to pony up some $$$ to the local constabulary.
Yeah, I know what you guys are saying. But, a bike is actually a friend of mines, and he intends on putting on exhaust regardless. I'm just trying to point him in the right direction since he's going to do it anyways.
