Anybody have any suggestions on what gearing to run at R.A. on a 04 SV650?
Whatever is on it will be fine with me. ;)
I have first generation SV's that were geared "Stock" 15/45
For Road America last year I ran 16/44
Just over the top of the hill before the start/finish line I'm shifting into 6th gear.
Its nice to be able to carry 5th over the crest of the hill and shift into top gear.

What does that mean? An Expert rider that doesn't know what gearing he is running?!?! NONSENSE!!!!!
I think in other words he is saying none of your frickin business!!! ::)

No, what he's saying is that he's too freek'n cheap to buy different sprockets.
;D
Or smart enough, unlike myself to not tell his opponents what gearing he's running. I know how racers think, therefore I am :-X
depends on how fat you are...

Wrong, that is, "I think, therefore I am.......I think"
Hey don't worry K C, it's only my first year with a white plate.
You have nothing to worry about.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Raced my first 2 years on a GSXR600 with the stock suspension, gears and chain. That's no lie. Right, Dawn?

In other words I'm not riding his bike, so it doesn't matter to me. ;D

Yep!
The only reason why Kevin's SV has an aftermarket shock on it is because it came with it when he bought it. He was going to ride with a spring that was too heavy for him, but fortunately we had one that was too light for Paul so the swap was made.
Dawn :)

I don't need this crap Jeff! I'm ready and I'll be fast!!!

And why is it the fast guys like Lee need to ask gearing or tuning questions? You're a fast kid Lee and I know you're worried because it's your first year as an expert but don't worry you'll do fine. (Between us ;), try not to embarrass Junge this season!)
Man! That must have took a whole cow!! :o

I'm sure Mr. Davis is sooooo worried, Crazy Bastard was passing almost all the Experts last year as an AM ::).
Try to keep the Stoppies to a minimum in traffic going into turn 1 OK?

Note to Mr. Davis...
Almost all ain't all. Bring your "A" game, rookie. ;)

Oh! Now I know who you are. Yeh, you passed me from the Amatuer grid almost every race. What will you do if your lined up next to me! :'(

Hey, Kev. You're allowed to pass him back. ;)
It's all in fun, but don't worry about what game I'll bring.
'Cause it'll probably be the same game that got me around a white Beull last year with 247 on the side at Gingerman. ;D
I know who you are.
Oops, don't be hatin'
Yours truly,
Rookie!

Just make sure they're clean/safe passes....
We don't need any Rossi/Gibernau replays. Most of us have to go to work on Monday.

Yeah, after I fell off in T2 leading the class ahead of you, and remounted to finish... ::)
Lee

What I think he's saying, is he's too slow to need other sprockets :P
See you at R.A. everybody!
