Just got my numbers and graphics in the mail from Stumpy! Man, they are awesome! He sure does nice work. The guy REALLY took care of me, too. ;)
Thanks, Greg! I love you, the check's in the mail, and I promise I won't c.... Oh, wait. You already know I'm lying on that last one! :D
Yeah, and that Awesome Spyder Banner I gave you? Stumpy did that too!
I always get a kick out it when racers just love when I do their names and logos. I got that same kick when my banners came a few weeks ago and they Kicked a$$. Thanks Stumpy!
Yeah! Now if I just had some leathers, I could go to the track....
Guess I'll have to wrap myself in that Spyder banner. ::)
Yep, Stumpy rocks. I painted my R6 like the AZ flag this year, and the flag has a copper star in the middle. I couldn't find metallic copper vinyl in small quantities anywhere. So a quick e-mail request to Stumpy and my problem was solved. He even had the color in stock! It made the bike look great.
Thanks Stumpy!

Just for that comment I'm going to send 'em next week! :o ;D :-*
Elaine, that is freekin' BEYOOTYFUL!!!
Stumpy does rock!
In the middle of his getting ready for racing this weekend, he washed, waxed, cleaned out and vacuumed my car. He even scrounged up one of my Vicki's Secret body sprays and got rid of the winter stink. It's like new!
And he did all this while nursing me back to health from a 24 hour flu. He's a sport, but he shouldn't ever be a corner worker. Immediately upon my first (and only) throw-up, he yelled, "I'm taking you to the hospital!" I said no, and went back to bed. I can definitely see him being a little red flag happy!
Thank you hunny bunny!
:-* :-* :D
Stumpy has been well on the way of making Lithium and crew look awesome for months now. Has anyone mentioned yet that he rocks!?
As impressed as I was earlier today when I took Stumpy's graphics out of the envelope, you should see them now on the bike! Ohhhhhhhhh! Just effin bootyfull!
I luv you Stumpy!
Yes he does rock.......maybe he can give me a sticker and a hug at R.A.!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Thanks Kim! :) The design was mine, and Zac did all the paint work at home in the garage. We set up a temporary paint booth to do all the bodywork.
Elaine,
Bike looks great!
Who did the paint job?
Ditto that. Excellent idea for the paint. You are an arteest!
:)
So, how do I get Stumpy to make some stickers for me? Does he have a web-site?

Email him what you need at rocketracer256@charter.net He's pretty busy, especially this week.
FYI, due to Larry's demands, he'll have numbers and a supply of yellow and white vinyl at the track at midwest events all year again, too. Just see one of us. No need to order.
Heather
Thanks, I'll wait 'till after RA to bug him.

Thanks! All paint credits go to my hubby Zac. And yes, that's paint shot with a Binks spray gun (not rattle can).
I've wanted to do an AZ flag bike for quite some time. I'm a 3rd generation native Arizonan, and I think it's a great way to represent where your from when racing in other states. Plus, the AZ flag is pretty on an R6. ;)

The AZ flag is just plain pretty. Your quarter will be better than ours (WI) I'm sure. Yeah, there was no way anyone could mistake that for a rattle can job. Looks way too pro. :D
Quotedue to Larry's demands,
::)

That came out wrong. I meant Larry's demands of Stumpy to start bringing them.
That, and his ci-gar. Watch and learn kids. ;)
Hi Heather,
I'll see you guys Friday... ;D
Anyone else doing the MAM Trackaddix day?
Thanks Guys!
I have been busy getting ready for the year for sure, It really came up fast, I am leaving for MAM tomarrow and still have the number 256 on the fiddy! :) I don't see it getting done either :'( What a sinner. I wish. Just talked to Darren Hickey and he is heading down.
Putter, I didn't know you actually raced?! ;D
BTW, has Darren told you the story of the talented girl he met at Topeka?
QuoteI wish. Just talked to Darren Hickey and he is heading down.
Edgar, whats up with the decal situation? I'm bringing markers and crayons, you ready for me to do my work ;D
Stumpy
I just emailed you... BTW, the paintjob looks awesome. You are going to be jealous.
Are you bringing vinyl and a cutter? I need some number 8's that fit the number plates...
I'm not bringing the plotter... Just markers. I am not using my good bodywork this weekend, You know what happens with a shiney new paint job and new bodywork :-X :-X Still going with the pink and metalic brown design?
Stumpy
Hey! I'm going to MAM too!! :D
See ya there! Where's everybody stayin?
QuoteI wish. Just talked to Darren Hickey and he is heading down.
Just a heads-up, since I got a frantic call from Dean today regarding me showing up at MAM.
I am NOT vending at TrackAddix events, I will not be bringing my setup with me, nor will I be bringing anything but a handful of tires for people who ordered them. Well, maybe the KLR, too.
If you need Dunlops for a TA event, you'll need to get in touch with me beforehand to make arrangements to get the tires to you.
Consider this thread un-hijacked. Get back to talking about Stumpy's work, damnit!

I was racing when you were just a pup! I think I got out of it about when you guys came along. 1996. I will be back out this year on my 150 hp FZR 400. ;D
And no, but I would certainly like to hear the scoop about her "talents".
