Post by: EM JAY on March 19, 2005, 05:42:57 AM
Heard a bit about this but don't know anyone that is actually using it.  Heard it can be used for a 99-00 after fixin the insides.....Anyone using a Katana front rim?

I don't know the answer to that one....

You may want to try checking on this site specifically dedicated to the SV..

Yes you can use a 98-03 katana 600 front on the first gen. SV's with no modifications. For the 03+'s, you need different bearings. For the rear, you need to change the bearings for all years...

What about the F4 front end.  That bolts end, probably has better brakes and a lighter front end swap that the Katana, plus you don't lose the main purpose for the swap - external adjustability.
