I've never set up a bike for racing before, so if this is a stupid question please bear with me.. ;D
I was trying to rig up a catch can on my bike and I called one of my friends who races in CCS and he said that it isn't needed since the lines are all routed into the belly pan. Is that true? I wasn't sure if it was true or if he just never got caught in tech yet..
I've never had one and no one has said anything. :-/
the next time i see one of these "whatever" bikes that the guy removes the radiator over flow (thinking he'll go so much faster cause he just saved .5 lbs) and puts the line into the belly pan, puking crap over the race track in front of me, Im gonna pull up next to him, take off my helmet, and wack him with it!
sec 5.2.15 has the catch can requirements.
Is the stock radiator overflow good enough for the coolant? I've got that on there, I was going to put another can below that..

That's a waste of a perfectly good helmet. Catch 'em in the pits and take all the air of their bike tires. ;D
The hot ticket is to leave the stock coolant overflow bottle in place, then route the overflow line from that bottle into the belly pan.
Not a stupid question. Better to have asked it here.

Perfect, then I guess my bike is all set! Thanks! :)
Race well!
