Ducati has annonced contingency for all CCS races and Aprilla has posted $10,000 for a win at the Race of Champions. Our first SW race of the year had 2 entries in expert SuperTwins, so Ducati is not paying unless we have 5 on the grid.
Is this class just about dead? Last year the majority of the SuperTwins racers were aboard SVs.
supertwins would have a chance of surviving if CCS would include points from that race in overall points. They don't so many guys who are chasing points on SV's don't waste their money on SuperTwins...unfortunately.

That's why you should get on an Aprilia ;)
If I was on an Aprilla, there would still be (2) on the grid and no contingency.
Aprilia is paying for the ROC so you only need the rider numbers for that race and this year that race will be stacked full of both Ducati and Aprilia bikes 8)

2 Aprilia's........ would that mean that it was you on the duc and one dude on an Aprilia?
Maybe you can make the class like a group ride for you and some of your friends, with everyone sharing the contingency money equally. It would be like a little parade in the middle of the racing day!
