..  (read, least expensive) place to get a Suomy helmet?

Lithium Motorsports carries Suomy and Rob's pretty good with prices for racers.

Wherever you get it, make sure you're getting a current helmet.  Not that Rob would sell you something old, but there are a LOT of ~year 2000 helmets around that are "on sale"...

I got my new suomy spec 1r and I think I like it as much as my arai.  It fits real good !

Give it to him on the way home from the reunion, after he's byacthed his azz off! ;D  I saw at the show that the pattern like mine with the checkered flags is still available, only now over a black base coat where mine is white.  Paul has commented several times that he thinks my helmet is the prettiest one ever made.  They have a new paint job called the dragon that he would also love.

Spec1R helmets are BSI, and they haven't been made that long, the Spec1R's...
