no way....
Yes way !!!
I just got all the paperwork today. I'm only going to qualify for one race. It seems the LRRS has got the best money. What's up with that ?

'Cause we love our Ducs up here. Good rivalry between Dunbar Euro-Sports and BCM will guarantee lots of great racing! Also Ducati of North America got a lot of good feedback when the Penguin School went Italian up here. I'm sure they see a lot of potential in the northeast.
I heard they were just throwing tons of money at Loudon to try and stop the Aprilia freight train ;D

Hell no! One cheap phone call to INS and you'll be back shaggin' sheep in NZ in no time! ;D
Thumper, where do I go to request the contingency paperwork? Also, were you able to find any other specifics at ducatiusa.com? I jumped over there, but I didn't see any info on the program.

Underduck,
Your local dealer should have gotten all the info.
Or you can check www.ducatiusa.com . What year is your bike? I hope it's 03 or newer. If not your out of luck....

My favorite Rashid story: We had a local racer, Marc Underburg, who was always getting into trouble on his pit bike. For a couple of years, he would lose his pit bike privileges for the remainder of the season around June.
Jim was up for a Loudon national, and I found him settled in and relaxing under his awning. I stopped to talk for awhile, and noticing his kid riding around on a pit bike, I warned him that children under 16 weren't allowed to ride around on pit bikes and that Security would confiscate the bike if they caught him. Jim just shrugged his shoulders and said, "What do I care? It's Underburg's bike!" ;D
Where are the details about the program though? It said they were on Ducati North Americas site, but I couldn't find them. Please help I've been interested in running the 800ss for a while now and this might just be what enables it to happen.
no more SV lbk ?
Ducati Contingency
Race of Champions
MW SS SuperTwins
first $5,000 $10,000
second $300 $300
third $200 $200
All Regional CCS events
first $500 $500
second $300 $300
third $200 $200
Only (5) needed on grid to qualify
Quoteno more SV lbk ?
I'll be running an SV this year for sure Stevie, but the 800ss runs the same classes as the SV and I had considered switching to that bike at the end of last year but the expense kept me away, so it would really come down to whether or not the contingency would offset the cost a bit.
But looking at that it doesn't help me any, so looks like I'll be sticking with the SV. But hey that's ok because I should have a B bike ready by Road America this year.
They pay the same amounts for the SS800 in Ultra Lightweight Superbike except for the ROC.
ROC
1st $2,600
2nd $300
3rd $200
