Uh, isn't the WSB opener this weekend? I don't see a listing for it on SpeedTv.

StupidTV errr NASCARTV errr FoxTV whatever you want to call it, has decided that its not important enough - cant get good enough ratings -- doesnt have anyone to sponser the show. has since decided to run the races on tuesday.

You gotta catch me, beatch!
BTW, did you buy my case of Newcastle yet? You know, race season is coming soon! Are you going to Road America?

I'm skipping RA due to some obligations on friday and saturday but I may come up to watch on sunday. I'll bring it with then. :)

A Yamaha R1 8)
Isn't Hoffman riding an R1 over there this year?
If so I'll be interested to see how he does, but Vermeulen is definitely going to be the kid to watch this year. I think that boy is going to make MotoGP interesting in another year.

Yeah, baby...
I'm not really brand loyal, but Haga on Yamaha's...
It just seems to be a good fit. We'll see.
28. Ben Bostrom, Honda CBR1000RR, 2:08.199
ouch...
He crashed on lap 4 of qualifying.

Hoffman be on Kawasaki motogp bike. :)
Gotta love the group photo on soup, poor Ben forgot to bring his bike...that would suck. I can see the camera guy, umm Bostrom can you squeeze in closer to the other bikes.

I used to look forward to coming home on Tuesday and watching some racing. Now I get to come home and know the only races were on at noon and 1 pm. nice >:(
Hey, be happy you can get it on TV. There was a time when there was no road racing on TV, period. We've came a long way....
yep.
whiny liberals. ;D

So what does a Tivo cost, and how does it work? Please, bring me into the 21st century.... :-[

Don't know what a TIVO costs, but it is a digital video recorder. If you have Time Warner there in chicago, you can probably get their dvr cable box and do the same thing for about $5 a month. It lets you record tv shows and view them whenever you want, but with better quality than a vcr and less work to program. One word of advice in the Milwaukee or Chicago area: Never set up your dvr to record every instance of Simpsons in a day. You will end up with about 20 a day and within a week your hard drive is full.
